My name is Jon Sharp and I am currently attending Dalton State College in Dalton, GA.
I am currently an education major, because I've always felt that the world would be
a better place if everyone were more like me... :) So, if I can teach children how
to be like me, the world will be maybe a little better. I enjoy spending time with
my beautiful girlfriend, Jolene.
She happens to be going to school at
Southern Adventist University
in Collegedale, TN. I have just recently been hired by
Precision Computer Service
in Calhoun, GA. I will begin working there next week. I look
forward to advancing my skills in Networking and Network Administration. Maybe
someday I would like to become a Network Administrator for a good-sized corporation,
being able to play with some nice expensive hardware... hehe. I attend the monthly
meetings for the GA Tech, and I'm trying to become a
more active participant. Next week, I will be helping the group with our booth at
the '99 AIIM conference in Atlanta. Linux
is probably my biggest hobby, as I spend much of my time convincing my friends to
install it and eventually replace Windows with it. I hope to learn
more about Web Design, HTML, and Javascript soon so I can make this page look a
little better.
I am a Seventh-Day Adventist Christian, believing that Jesus paid the price for our sins, that He lives again, and He will come again very soon to take us to our Heavenly Home. The SDA church has a rich and exciting history that starts back around 1844 with the early Millerite movement, during the historic period known as The Second Great Awakening.
